Helpful tips to get through, folks. So, let’s not muck about. Make every effort, spades of it, in fact, to be as creative as possible with your Instagram words. This is something your future followers will love about you. It might even be the sole reason why they’ll all be supporting you so loyally.
Sounds like I’m dreaming, doesn’t it? Not at all. But in any case, dreams do come true. Dreams only come true if you’re prepared to work at it. And the dream of most Instagram newbies seems to always get more followers on Instagram. It is not an unreasonable dream. It’s quite professional actually. Because the number of followers you are able to keep consistently registered, and actively so, under your profile, become something of a benchmark, a hallmark even, of your rate of (high) productivity and commercial or personal success (on Instagram).
So, let’s get on with it, shall we. Here are your eight tasks to get stuck into. It’s all good and it’s going to help you get more followers onto your very own Instagram platform. No-one else’s, not even Instagram’s. Yours.
Go to Instagram’s Places tab and check out what’s happening in your neck of the woods. That’s like your first exercise. The second exercise is this. Make sure your written, speaking and visual voice is persuasive, and make sure they – your future followers – dig your call to action. Number three is this. You have to clearly communicate what you’re up to. Otherwise, they won’t get it, right? Anyway, on to number four then. Work on giving your platform an original look. And number five is this.
Make it clear to your visitors, and future followers, what your brand identity – it’s all visual at this point – is all about. They need to check this out and so whenever you postit as they say, they’ll know it’s you who’s talking to them, and they’ll want to check in and see what you’ve got to say for yourself. Now, you can be as creative, imaginative and eloquent as possible, but in the Web universe, you’ll easily be missed. So, as much I hate to say it, you’re going to have to get used to the idea of using hashtags within your purple prose.
Now, why would I seem reluctant at saying this? I just said it. Purple prose. That’s where I’m coming from. I’m a man of letters. It wouldn’t seem like it in the way I’m addressing you, but that’s quite alright and really, it’s quite appropriate too. Because your target market on the Instagram platform would much prefer a casual voice from you if you don’t mind. And if they really wanted to go all literary like, they’d be down at the public library, not so?
Gosh, look how quickly time runs away from you. Happens when you’re having fun. So, I guess I’d better wrap this up. So, six, seven and eight. Be active. Always. Everywhere. Strategize on building your audience. And then there’s that hashtag thing again. Work on it. Work it.
